Bug in Update 3 while taking return from postman after modifiying the Postman name

In Meghdoot Update 3 after modifying the Postman name in Supervisor. The postman name appears twice while taking returns (Old Postman Name+New Postman Name). Because of this bug day end cannot be done. Now CEPT MYsore has Provided two exl to solve this issue, One Exe and Two dll to solve this issue

Introduction of facility of automatic credit of PLI/ RPLI monthly premium from PO S.B account of insured persons

Sub: Introduction of facility of automatic credit of PLI/ RPLI monthly premium from savings account of insured persons.

   In the last few years, there has been massive expansion of Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI). However, it has been noticed that a number of policies particularly in RPLI lapse after a while. One of the reasons for lapsation is absence of convenient ways of depositing premia of the policy(ies). As such, it was under consideration of the Department to provide facility of automatic deduction of premia from Savings Account so that (i) the policy holder(s) need not have to visit Post Office every month for depositing premia of his PLI/ RPLI policy and (ii) lapsation of PLI/ RPLI policies gets reduced.

2. The competent authority has now approved the proposal for providing the facility to the policy holder of PLI and RPLI to get premium deposited/ credited by deduction of the same directly from his Savings Account standing in Post Offices. However, this facility can be opted by only those policy holders of PLI and RPLI whose Savings Accounts are maintained in the Departmental Post Offices (GPOs, HOs, MDGs or SOs).

3. It is requested to kindly take necessary action for implementation of aforesaid scheme and wide publicity may also be given for this scheme through various publicity channels.

4. Accounting and operating procedure for automatic transfer of premium of PLI/ RPLI from Savings Accounts of the policy holder is enclosed for information and action accordingly.

5. It is further informed that till the provisions are made in the software, automatic credit of PLI/ RPLI monthly premium by deduction from savings account of the policy holder will have to be done manually.

SpeedNet-UID Status Update:

1) Purpose : To facilitate Post Offices in updating the status as 'RECEIVED' or 'NOT RECEIVED' for the Speed Post UID articles shown as received in UID Reports for that office.

2) Pre-requisites :
   --------------
  a) .Net Framework 2.0 or higher
  b) Update 6 for SpeedNet Version 3.1.2
  c) Latest SpeedNet Communication (.Net environment)

3) Installation Procedure:
   ----------------------

  a) Please run the POSPCC16102012.EXL file using ScriptTool.
      b) Please copy the SpeedNet-UID Status Update.exe file to the EMSClient folder (where SpeedNet Communication.exe exists).
      c) Please create Shortcut of SpeedNet-UID Status Update.exe on Desktop.

AAdhar Card and Bank account must for subsidised Cylinder from next year onwards

Setting the stage for a major reform in the subsidy system in the country, a government-constituted task force has recommended transfer of cash directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of subsidised LPG, kerosene and fertiliser to curb pilferage and leakage

The customers’ aadhaar enabled bank account  details will be used to transfer the subsidy. The customers will buy all cylinders at market price while the government will fix the subsidy per cylinder. 

The OMCs will sell LPG at the market price and the subsidy amount will be directly transferred from the government to the customers in the subsequent phases. The Task Force recommended direct transfer of subsidy through state governments or Union territory administrations and finally to the beneficiary in three different phases.

Directorate order for Productivity linked bonus for the year 2011-2012 for postal employees

Postal Directorate vide Letter No. 26-05/2012 -PAP dated 18.10.2012 has announced60 days productivity Linked Bonus for the accounting year 2011-12 for postal employees in MTS, Gr-C and non Gazetted Gr B cadres and exgratia payment of Bonus to regularly appointed GDS. No change in ceiling of Rs 3,500/- to Departmental employees and Rs 2,500/- to GDS employees.

Speed net Update 6 : error

While upgrading pospcc of update 6 of speednet, 4 error will occurs.According to PTC Mysore this error can be ignored. But they have provided a exl for BNPL Customers

If your office is booking BNPL articles, then run the attached script using ScriptTool.exe. 

Other errors noticed are due to non-availability of ePayment facility at your office and does not affect the speednet operations.Please complete with the next steps of upgradation.
